M8 x 25mm Star Hand Knob Screw – BSWAN Metal Umbrella Base 4 Pack

Description

Product Overview

The BSWAN M8 x 25mm star hand knob screw is engineered for durability and precision. Crafted from high‑grade metal, this screw offers corrosion resistance and long‑term strength, making it ideal for outdoor environments where exposure to rain, sun, and wind is common. The hex head provides a secure grip for easy installation using standard wrenches or screwdrivers, reducing the time and effort required to replace worn or missing fasteners.

Each screw measures 25 mm in length with a fully threaded M8 metric thread, guaranteeing a tight and stable connection within an 8 mm groove diameter. The star‑shaped hand knob design distributes load evenly, preventing slippage and ensuring the umbrella or canopy remains firmly anchored even in breezy conditions. The package includes four identical screws, allowing you to replace multiple fasteners or keep spares on hand for future maintenance.

Designed specifically for umbrella bases, patio canopies, and similar outdoor fixtures, this product meets industry standards for metric thread classification and right‑hand thread style. The screw’s standard thread class ensures compatibility with a wide range of existing hardware, eliminating the need for custom adapters or additional components.

Usage

When installing the BSWAN star hand knob screw, first remove any damaged or corroded fasteners from the umbrella base. Clean the threaded hole to remove debris, then align the screw with the groove and turn clockwise using a hex‑wrench or screwdriver. The fully threaded design allows the screw to engage the entire depth of the hole, providing maximum holding power.

This screw is perfect for residential patio umbrellas, commercial garden canopies, and even lightweight awnings used in cafés or outdoor dining areas. Its robust metal construction ensures it can withstand the weight of medium‑size umbrellas, while the star knob offers a comfortable grip for manual tightening without the need for power tools.

For best results, apply a small amount of outdoor‑grade thread sealant before installation to enhance water resistance and prevent loosening over time. The screw’s design also makes it suitable for occasional removal and re‑installation, such as when repositioning an umbrella for seasonal changes.
